Oh Ang.. where do I even start? Seriously through my darkest times, you were there telling me NOT what I wanted to hear but what I NEEDED to hear! I didn’t like it at the time, but thought about it for awhile and knew you were exactly right! I cant ever express how much I love and appreciate you!!! I did give up on my marriage and that is a consequence that I have to deal with. Life must go on. I come to you so much for advice and not enough as a friend. It hurts me that I don’t make time to make it back home and visit. But I hope you know in your heart that you have and always will be my best friend!!! I have yet to hear a negative thing come out of anyones mouth that has met you. From first impressions, you glow and touch peoples lives. I am so super proud of you and privileged to call you my friend. I love you

Hi Ang! I got my book today–I read it all ready. It isnt as long as I was thinking it would be–but a couple times you wrote “in the series” so I am thinking there will be more. Every once in a while I think we are placed together with someone who becomes a very special part of our lives; maybe not in the front of the happenings but someone who is there behind the scenes and supports us in our efforts; they are almost like a “silent partner” (if you will). I would say that it’s like they are “the wind beneath our wings” if you’re familiar with that song at all. That’s how I feel about you. Thanks for being such an important part of my life. The prayers, Jesus composed in your book are definitely his dictated compositions. You did a very good job explaining what you went though with your bout with depression and how it took you 2 years to beat it. As you related in your book “Through God all good things are possible” !
I received the book in the mail and read it twice the first day and will share it with my Pastor and see if he feels it would help someone he knows who is having a bout with depression.

I give all credit to you for saving Matt and I’s marriage, I really do, when I was just about ready to throw in the towel and call it quits, you told me things that I would have never thought of, and I also realized that asking the Lord for help, talking to him about what you need help with, and telling him what you want out of life, works. and I do it often. "You've Been Conned" is an amazing book very simply because the author, Angela Serocki, is an amazing person. She is full of kindness and compassion and has a steadfast dedication in her relationship to God. She has been through "the good times" as well as "tremendously difficult times." It was those difficult times that brought Angela a new direction, changed her focus and brought her to Jesus Christ. In her book, she offers insight, helpful advice and life-giving encouragement as she shares with you her depths of despair an heights of victory. Angela understands, through practical experience, that in every situation God is available and ready to help when He is asked. God is so much bigger than your problem, and when we really know Him we can rest in that fact. This book is great reading.
